Whats so bad about the secondary education in Philippines?

Frederick Mccoach: The simplest technique to uncover a well English speaker is at any retailer/keep or mall. Buy whatever and pay with no longer sufficient cash. After jogging away with the object the character you simply spent part an hour with looking to make feel of will yell out in ultimate English, Excuse me sir however you didn't supply me sufficient cash to your object. It is fantastic how a couple of unpaid pesos can increase one's language capabilities.

Cherry Stampka: I am a Filipino from the Philippines and I am confused at your question. Are you trying to say that Filipino students being smarter and more disciplined than you are, as an American, is bad? Anyway, it's all about perspective. Here in the Philippines, we value discipline, as it is immersed in our culture. And from what you've said, you're also saying that Philippine secondary education is "easy" because if you were studying here, you would be done. U.S. and Philippine educational systems are d! ifferent, so it is difficult to compare. They focus on different subjects. It would be better if you would clarify your thoughts. ;)...Show more

Delora Struzzi: if you are saying that secondary education is better in the Philippines, I don't agree. In fact , I don't agree that any education is better in the Philippines except for the fact that it is cheaper. But cheaper equals worse quality. I know many people who are teachers and students in the Philippines and the things I have seen and have heard are ridiculous. I have seen teachers going out on dates with their students, teachers going out drinking with their students, teachers showing up late or not at all, students bribing their teachers for a better grade, an excuse for an absence, a chance at a make up exam, you name it! Bribes seem to always work. And yes, I have seen all of this first hand. And yes, this happens in both private and public schools. It happens in all grade levels as well. I even know a teacher! who told a friend of mine to enroll at his school and he woul! d make sure she passed everything... from my experience the experiences of those around me, education is not better here in the philippines....Show more

Javier Holsonback: Based on your immature question, you are apparently a cretin yourself. So the best thing you should do is stay where you are, unless you sincerely like to be put in section 24 or lower.
