Is it true that Arts and Humanities people rate less?

answers1: Ahhhh, Curious Orange. Thumbs up and thumbs down is indeed
a rating system. In the Arts, beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
you know that. Many of the questions here fall into the rank of
average and mundane. The Arts and Humanities aspire to the higher
realms of visual beauty and standards, why should A&H want to
discourage the ascent of the normal person to higher climes by giving
thumbs down? It's all a learning experience for each individual. We
all are at different levels in our exploration of universal truths and
their implementation in our lives.
We may appear to vote less, but there are fewer of us on the site than
others. If you look at All Catagories as the questions are listed on
Yahoo!Answers, you will see there are fewer questions for A&H people
to rate in the A&H catagory. Therefore fewer votes and ratings,
thumbs up or thumbs down. It is proportional.
I could consider you as a "pot stirrer" or I could consider you a
person who raised the consciousness of others and makes them aware of
the discrepancies.
We all follow our own paths. G'day.
answers2: It may be because it is not as busy a forum as others,
otherwise, I am at a loss for words.
answers3: Thumbs up or thumbs down, it's better than having our thumbs
in our a••es!
