Cigarette smoke is sticky, that's why it lingers for so long. Just light some candles, turn on the fan, and the smell will be gone by morning. Make sure you clean your apartment regularly too. Vacuuming and dusting regularly w! ill keep it from smelling. Smoking can cause a lot of dust.
