questions on selling car!!?

Saran Stealy: Yea, Certified checks are the way to go. You can take a chance with personal checks if they are local. Other then that I wouldnt. If the buyer is out of state I would state CLEARLY buyer is responsible for pickup. If your still paying for your car, YOU need to make sure you have the title readily available for sale. You should contact your lienholder for more information.

Jacques Teri: this is easy, if the seller is out of state you will need to give them your bank routing numbers and then they can transfer the money to your account. do not forget to add the cost of transporting the car to them if your going to set it up, or they can set up there own transportation, let them know that the car will not be released until the funds are in your account. good luck

Floy Fague: don't bother with people out of stateget a certified check from their bank and take it to your bank right away, make sure it's a good checkdo you have a lien on your vehicle? y! ou have to have the lien released before you can sell it.make sure you have the title ready to sign over to the buyer once the check goes through.having it online you may get some people that say they're out of state and I'll send you a check for over the amount to cover shipping just send me the difference- don't fall for their scheme! you'll have given them your car and your money! they should have a buyers contract you can download online also to use....Show more
