(Adhesions)?Otherwise, you might want to check out the story on Adrianna Xenides (Ex-wheel of fortune Lady) she was on Today Tonight or A Currant Affair last night & her symtoms seem to match up to yours very close also? It could be well worth checking out anyway? Hope l've been able to help you if even just a little?Thanks!chezaando@yahoo.com.au...Show more
Gerardo Greist: Salt - salt is a natural antiseptic and will help to kill the live ones. Vinegar - vinegar loosens the glue that holds the nits onto the hair, making them easier to comb out. Tea tree oil - The wonder from down under, tea tree oil is an antiseptic and insecticide. Peppermint oil - This stuff is potent and kills the l! ive bugs. It also works to repel them when used in your regular shampoo after the infestation has been removed. An added bonus, it has a wonderful cooling and soothing effect on the scalp when applied. Dish soap - The grease-fighting action of a good-quality dish soap will help make it more difficult for the little critters to hang on, and make it easier for you to comb them out. Hope her head feels better :]...Show more

Mack Ukich: Bowel obstruction.....have they had abdominal surgeries in the past? My sister had an bowel obstruction a foot away from her stomach.......those were her symptoms, along with weight loss.......she had it for at least a year before all of a sudden she was in so much pain she couldn't move....she spent three weeks in the hospital after surgery......

Oscar Waddups: Some diseases can be treated, as far as less! ening the symptoms, and some diseases can be cured, meaning the person will be disease, and symptom free.
Talisha Digrande: Treating: you contain the problem but it doesn't ever really go away.Cure: You removed/fixed the problem and it doesn't come back.
Marquetta Gimm: Use Mayo!
Carmelina Enoch: Treating a disease usually means treating the symptoms. When you treat a disease, the disease itself does not go away, but the person with the disease may feel better and/or live longer because some or all of the symptoms are being controlled.Curing a disease means that the disease itself is eradicated from the victim's body. For example, AIDS is treatable, but not curable....Show more
Marya Fehn: Go to your local drug store and buy lice shampoo. it should help
Chris Rosenkranz: treating it is taking care of it, keeping it from getting worse. Curing it is making it go away
Danyell Rowback: Treatment of a disease means to make better. It is like ! having cancer and going to chemo or having radiation. It is also like someone having Diabetes and having shots; someone with epilepsy taken pills; depression and having medicine, etc. etc. etc. It is trying to make it better;trying to slow the process; or dealing with the condition. A treatment is NOT a cure; they are not the same thing. Curing a disease is getting rid of it. There are very few diseases that can be cured. They are mostly treated. Even when they have been "cured" most can come back. For example breast cancer can be "cured" by going to chemo and whatnot; however, it is only really in remission. The cancer is never really gone. Cancer lies dormant in your body until something activates it. Everyone has cancer; however, not everyones cancer has "come out" if that makes any sense to you. Even when you have pneumonia and you take medicine for it you are still not "cured" you are treated because pneumonia can still come back...understand how I am trying to explain! it. Anyways, hope it helped....Show more
Coralie Goldsberry: Eee! e... the belly button area start is worrying...You may have appendicitis if: You have pain in your belly. The pain begins around your belly button but is felt all over your belly. Within several hours, the pain gets stronger and then moves below your belly button on your right side (the lower right quadrant). The pain does not go away and gets worse when you move, walk, or cough. You have pain in the upper right quadrant. You feel nauseous or throw up a few times. You also may not feel like eating. You have constipation, back pain, a slight fever, or a swollen abdomen. You feel tired and do not have a lot of energy.http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/Appendicitis-Sy...If it's been happening for a few weeks, then hopefully it's not that, but good that they will see the doctor tomorrow....Show more
Samara Siewers: Treating means that you are relieving symptoms or that the disease itself cannot be completely cured but can be "treated" to minimize its effects. Curing is t! o completely eradicate the disease. For example, I had kidney failure due to a genetic disease. I received a kidney transplant, therefore I am being "treated" for my disease. I am not "cured" because I will eventually need a new transplant....Show more

Karl Jantzen: Some diseases have no cure, like epilepsy or cancer, so they are treated with medications. Other illness, such as, strep throat can be cured with medications and will completly go away.
Wilfredo Muldoon: Curing a disease is making it completely go away, it's history!Treating a disease is more of a process without reference to the end. My doctor treated my pneumonia with antibiotics, and cured it. All gone!On the other hand, when my dog got lymphoma, I learned it could be treated but not cured. In other words, I could make! the symptoms go away - for a while, at least - but the lymphoma was st! ill there and would kill him, sooner or later. Which it did....Show more

Mercedez Trabue: Treating a disease means that you don't have a solid cure, but can address the symptoms which will either lessen pain and suffering or eventually get rid of disease. While curing the disease is when the cure is well known and has been established as the solution, thus it will work to rid you of the disease, period.
Bethanie Menden: A treatment can relieve symptoms and possibly extend life expectancy, yet without providing a cure. For example Herbes Simplex Virus (HSV) Infection has no Known cure, but can be managed with medication permitting a fairly normal lifespan with reduced symptoms. " No current antiviral treatments can eradicate HSV infection, and treatment of the first oral or genital infection doe snot prevent chronic infection of nerves. However treatment may relieve the dis! comfort of a recurring outbreak slightly and shorten its duration by a day or two."Some cancers, like medulloblastoma can be hammered into remission, but to the best of my knowledge are not technically considered curable. Von Houskeeper: I'm really pleased to see that you are heading off to see the doctor tomorrow, probably should have gone a lot sooner though. Sounds like an infection/abscess with cellulitis spreading across the abdomen. I would imagine that the doctor would take blood tests (check for infection) a swab ( see what bug is causing the infection) and prescribe antibiotics. Depending on the extent of the infection the doctor may recommend an ultrasound to see if there is a collection that needs drainage or even surgery to remove it and debride (clean the area) plus some intravenous antibiotics in! hospital. Keep us posted on what happens. All the best....Show more
Vida Miss: Treating would be it's still present, curing would mean it's gone. Some diseases can only be treated and make them less painful. Like Crohns disease. Lung Cancer is most likely not curable only treatable. Herpes, treatable, not curable.Chlamydia - curable....Show more
Shan Lanen: At first, it was the size of a big orange all around the belly button ,and now it has spread all the way to the right side of the belly, like a giant kidney turned sideways (to describe the shape). Hard as a rock, swollen, painful, can;t sit, can't stand up, can't lay down, sneeze, laugh, cough, or anything without groaning and wincing in pain. The person has taken laxatives , suppositories, gas-x, rolaids, anything to clean the system out the last few weeks... and nothing has worked, which seemingly rules out constipation. Any ideas? Of course the appointment is tomorrow with a doctor, but I am curious as to your ideas in advance!...Show more
Truman Biby: They both mean ! the same thing.
Lionel Tanen: If you don't want to use a chemical, the most effective treatment that doesn't involve using any products at all simply involves removing the nits and live lice with a lice comb and/or tweezers. This is the method that is advocated by The National Pediculosis Association. It can be time consuming to do this and you may have to repeat the procedure for several days to make sure you get them all, but this is likely the best thing to do. You still have to take the time to comb out all of the nits anyway even if you use an anti-lice shampoo, as these shampoos don't kill the eggs. If you don't, they will just hatch and you will have live lice again. Most other natural home remedies involve putting something on the scalp and hair to 'smother' the head lice. Popular choices include real mayonnaise, olive oil, and vaseline. These are usually left on overnight, often under a shower cap, and then washed out the next day. They can be very messy thoug! h and have not really been proven to work. Some experts believe that th! is method 'works' because you actually remove the nits and lice as you try to get this stuff out of the hair. There are also herbal remedies to treat head lice, including products with tea tree oil and other essential oils. Because they are 'natural,' these are not regulated by the FDA, have not been proven to work, and should be used with caution and avoided in younger children.Ulesfia (Benzyl Alcohol Lotion 5%) is a non-pesticide prescription treatment for head lice. Ulesfia can be applied to the hair of children over 6 months of age with head lice until it is saturated, washed off after 10 minutes, and then reapplied 7 days later. Unlike Nix, Rid and other head lice shampoos, Ulesfia is thought to work by blocking the louses respiratory spiracles, thereby suffocating them....Show more

Perry Deshazior: Olive oil! We had to battle those nasty bugs. We have used RID and it doesn't work! My mother always used olive oil. I just used it on my daughter and it works WAY better. You slop a bunch of oil on the scalp and hair and cover with a shower cap or plastic grocery bag. I do it early in the morning about 8 am and leave it in hair till about 7pm. You will need the lice comb to get the bugs out. Use your finger nails to get all of the nits out. I don't think the combs work 100% like nails do. You will need to do it again in about 5 days but not longer. Wash everything in hot water and dry sheets in hot air or high heat. Boil combs and brushes, you might want to use a old tooth brush to get the bugs and nits out of the lice comb....Show more
