How would you decorate a wheelchair?

Amada Greising: When I was younger I used to like to decorate my chair.I used ribbon a lot. I wrapped my spokes in coloured ribbon, used oversized fake flowers and pinned them onto the back of my seat. What about bike handle streamers in the handles?Prehaps use silver markers to write funny slogans on it like 'Please don't stare, I know I'm gorgeous'Maybe cover the seat in fake colourful fur. Use colourful scarfes to tie around the back of the seat and tie in a bow. (Quite fashionable at the moment)...Show more

Rickey Vrieze: If I did personally I would have 1. Added some Chrome Rims 2. Installed a battery mount and battery / dropped a mini engine into it 3. Placed subwoofers and mounted a amplifier which of course is ran off the battery 4. Threw on some neons 5. Lowered it with a custom suspension kit 6. some dingle balls - fuzzy ones - 7. some side mirrors and yes I would have done all of this....Show more

Sibyl Siwik: if the chair has spoked main wheels, a! dd cut and slit straws to the spokes like we did back in the day.go to mcducks, speedway, thorntons ect, get various colored soda straws. Cut each one into fourths. slit longways, attach to the spokes. Makes a clinking sound when you are moving. Kinda dumb, but we thought our bikes were pretty tricked out back then...Show more

Kassie Kay: You could do a beach theme chair... tie child's inflatable inner-tubes to the outside of the wheels, hang sand buckets & tie sand scoop to the handles... slip-cover seat & back with beach towel... you could even tether a small beach umbrella to the sideanother could be Mexican fiesta with small pinata tied to the sides of the wheels.... or even better hung on an attached IV pole with streamers, etc...How about dressed-up tuxedo chair with accompanying evening gown chair?(Essential Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers if they were wheelchairs)Get a used Tux & Old Prom Dress at at thrift store... but up as needed & tie appropriately to the cha! ir.... I would think the back of the seat would need to be tre! ated as the front of the "model"You can put a tie or bow-tie on the tux & string some pearls or other bling with the dress...Show more

Antonia Boomershine: We only have an hour to decorate it and can't change the actual chair in any way.

Angel Klym: So long as the disabled person has a sense of humor I think a roadrunner would be awesome!! When the wheels spin the roadrunner legs would look like they were running...if you did it kind of like a cartoon but you could use feathers and stuff on the seat and arms and put the beak coming off one of the footrests. Wish I could draw you the picture in my head lol. Have fun!!
